Dr. Behzadi is a board certified orthopedic surgeon in the bay area specializing in the management and surgical treatment of knee, shoulder and hip. Fellowship trained in sports medicine Dr. Behzadi utilizes minimally invasive, state of the art techniques to accelerate the recovery process for common conditions such as Anterior cruciate ligament and Rotator cuff injuries.
Dr. Behzadi’s special interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques and robotic knee replacement surgery. Dr. Behzadi has been serving the east bay community over 15 years with extensive experience in hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Behzadi’s goal is to provide excellent care for each of his patient’s who walk through the door, tailoring a comprehensive care plan that is suited to the patient’s individual need.
Dr. Behzadi is a Cum Laude graduate of Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School with Alpha Omega Honors. Dr. Behzadi served his residency in Albuquerque at the University of New Mexico Medical Center, and he completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine, Knee and Shoulder reconstructive surgery at the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah.
Dr. Behzadi’s interests include research in the field of joint reconstruction with development of medical devices to improve efficacy and safety of surgical procedures. Dr. Behzadi is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
He was recently chosen as one of the Top Doctors of 2024 (and previously in 2015) in the San Francisco Magazine.
An avid athlete, Dr. Behzadi outside interests include soccer, snowboarding, and kite boarding.
